while i was polinating a female today, i noticed where one of the lobes should have been were tiny seeds...Is this bad, wha tcasues this, and can i grow a pumpkin with it?

No one knows what causes this. Most likely a combination of genetic and environmental influences. It is becomming more and more common as more and more growers are coming to the sport. All this is "duh" info, but unfortunatly all we know. Depending on severity, i do believe that it does not affect pollination and fertilization. I betting that you can still grow a big pumpkin if it sets.

Yes it will grow if you want a lopsided pumpkin in your patch. Yes it's very bad, pollinate the next pumpkin down the line unless thats the only one you have.

my best pumpkin growing right now had seeds in the blossom, I heard Bruce's 1458 had seeds in the blossom, not sure if thats true or not.
