Let's put it this way: In Ohio picnics of the past, I've met Holland, Hester, LaRue's ,Mettler, Mombert, Pugh (is this rhyming?)Stellpflug,Pukos, Eaton, Greer,(think I'm still rhyming here!),McCallum,McIntyre,Checkons,Hicks,(this beat needs a few drumsticks!) Also from this site: Deary, Desrosiers,Wallaces, and SVrich, (grow you b*&ch!)Eldridge,Walcott,Carlson, Farmer Scott,Quinn (do you think they'll let me in?) The delightful Gus Saunders(come back Gus!) as wells as Ives,Bobier, (they should have taken a bus!)Last but not least: the Ohio Valley "Legends": Rose, Stelts,Calai,Gibson,Wyckoff,Welty,Razo,& Parks(a lot of growers who've "made the marks!")Beachy, Lanterman,and all the rest. And don't forget the wonderful fest! Growers from all over to share their season, makes this one the best, THAT's THE REASON! (sorry if I missed you!)
