yo know when i go and actually cut one of my pumpkins from the vine.. right before the cut is actually made i get the strangest feeling all over.. its like, well all this work and in one fell swoop its all over, all the things i've done to keep this thing growing and kaput it over. maybe i'm just a little different than most of ya'll??

been there,,,,frost stopped me dead in my tracks....Once it was cut and you look at the vines......WEIRD.....well to overcome this I guess we can prepare for next year!!!!!!

Yes it does feel weird and when the stump and vines are gone,
the real work for next year begins but then again next spring the seeds will go in the ground and the stress and antisipation will start all over again.

I too get a "funny feeling" before I harvest. It must be that, I know now what I need to do to be better next season, and that, I have a whole lot more work ahead of me if I want a world record! I wonder if Don and Geneva Emmons had a funny feeling when they cut their "Etimated 1280"?
