I was wondering how big someone grew a pumpkin on a side vine with one growing on the main.

We grew one 511 lbs. Was meant to be a backup/shock absorber and as it grew I just could not take it off.

If you have a pumpkin on the first secondary vine and left it on, do you think it would take much away from one on the main vine of the same plant?

Im not sure the secondary pumpkin was first and its bigger, the one on the main is alittle smaller. I like the one on the secondary because this pumpkin is shaped better the one on the main is longer and not going to be as high as the one on the secondary.so Im just going to leave it grow on this plant.
