Subject: Real Smelly Mushroom...What's it called?

I can't remember the name of it. But as I recall the below ground parts are absolutely mammoth. Like bigger than the family Sedan.
Above ground, it's about 4" long. One half inch diameter base. No cap at all tapering to a point. Cream at the base changing to orange then red at the pointed tip. The tip is then covered in a hideous greenish brown ooze that smells like......well......I probably shouldn't say on a family oriented website. But MOST men wouldn't like it.
I'll post pictures later.
Any ideas?
