Well this really sucks I am writing this at a friends house cause we received some brutal weather this past week.
The house is pretty destroyed and lost thousands in damages. The plants all got hit pretty severe but are still hanging on barely the season may just be over.
I'll no longer be updating the diary as I no longer have a computer or most of my house for that matter. I'll try to update that fruit when the situation improves. Good luck all for the rest of the season, I hope to talk to you soon.

Hey Ernie, I'm so sorry to hear about this. I know certain areas in western Canada have been pounded this summer (eh Smitty?). We wish you the best. Alan

I'm sorry to hear that Ernie. Something like this puts a broken main into a different perspective. Maybe the plants will surprise you.
Don't be afraid to appeal for help here. The Pumpkin Brotherhood is strong & connections abound in strange places.
I hope things return to "normal" for you all as soon as stress free as possible.

That´s horrible Ernie, the pics in the news tell it all. Friends living an hour away from me lost roofs, cars, trees, gardens, electronic equipment etc. when a tornado hit the area on sunday. I hope you have an insurance that will at least pay to get that most important stuff back pretty soon. Take care and hope to see you back here safe and sound. Ingo

Hey Ernie, I'm really sorry to hear the news. What a brutal summer we've had in western Canada. I hope you can get things back in order, and that you can still make it to Smoky Lake.

Why don't we start an Ernie Fund? Jerry Lewis used to do pretty well with that sort of stuff in my time... I'll start the donations but I'm a crappy organizer. No offense Ernie but maybe you COULD use some help. Sincere wishes to you and your family!
