Newsletter/map was sent out July 6 (bulk mail), but several members haven't received them yet.You must register for the Saturday night dinner ($12) by this Sunday. For the picnic, at least one family member must have paid up dues. If you're a member and didn't get a newsletter, contact Al. Anyone else planning on attending, e-mail your address to [email protected] and Al will send you a newsletter. Git 'er done!

Just got my newletter today. Must be taking longer for the mailman to step lightly through the patches! (Stay on the boards, dammit!)

More on the tour! Featured patches will be Jerry Rose, Dale Lanterman, George Bell, and Alan Gibson. Due to crowd size, the picnic will NOT be held at the Baird pavillion, as previously. It will be at the Salem Saxon Club, not far from Al's place. They are asking you bring a dessert, salad, or appetizer and a healthy appetite! Everything else(hog, beef, chicken, salad, rolls, condiments, drinks) will be provided. This is THE event of the summer for giant pumpkin growers from all around!

I just noticed in the newsletter that reservations for the Saturday night dinner need to be made by the 20th. Yikes! That's today!
