I have decided on the pumpkins I will keep for the rest of the season. I am now switching over to 15-11-29, I was using Alaska fish fert 5-1-1. Along with the Alaska fish I am using Alaska Kelp. Question? Should I continue to use the Kelp for the duration of the growing season, along with the 15-11-29?

I'd continue to use the kelp, it supposedly helps to fend off powdery mildew!

cheese i agree with the killer p, kelp will help hold off the onset of powerdy mildew and its many trace elliments are very good for the plant if i may take it a step farther eventually we all go to a finisher , some earlier than others pls remember a high quantity of potash will also force maturity of your fruit my son ron and i use small amounts of kelp and finisher in with out insect and disease program we use only one table spoon per gallon of kelp and 5-10-40 in our gas powered backpack sprayer, but we use it every time we spray ( a little bit each time you spray or water is much better that large doses every now and then i think ) good luck pumpkintoons r.i.

brigitte --------- no such thing as a dumb blonde question none of us no matter how long we have grown can claim to know it all i believe kelp and seaweed are the same , if not there can not be much difference we use a liquid kelp and at times we also use a kelp meal that we broadcast under the plants a couple times a year dick w
