Anyone have any data on their pmpkins yet. Say circumference for 5, 10, 15 day etc. so everyone can get an idea of how they compare to other growers. Thanks, Ray

First time grower: not sure where it should be at this point. day 19 cir. is 52 in. the weather has not been hot & humid here, like it should be for this time of year. We just got some rain that you could call rain. temps only reached 80 deg then going down at night to the 50s & 60s at night. Today was my largest groth day of 13lbs. My total weight as of today is 53 lbs at 12pm. I work afternoon shift this week so I try to go 24 hrs. to measure .

No kidding. So would I! 115 lbs in 13 days?? That's pretty amazing.
Day 10 is tomorrow for me so I'll post my numbers then. I'm definitely interested to see some other numbers too.

1230 Daletas day 10, 16 feet, 22" circ, nice and round. 833 Ruff day 10, 12.5 feet, 18" circ, football shape.
The temps still dip down to the upper 40's here at night so I'm hoping warmer weather brings better overnight growth. My goal of 500 pounds may still be within reach!

I will take an updated picture this evening and post it. As of yesterday evening (7-18-04) the pumpkin pushed through the 200 lbs. threshold. I am very excited, but concerned about stem stress, pumpkin split and mildew (in that order). I am slowly moving the main vine to raise it and create a good angle off the vine for the stem. Am fertilizing with Kelp, fish emulsives, calcium and neem oil.

I just posted the picture of one of two pumpkins on the vine. Weather is clear and sunny with temps in the high 70's at day and low 60's at night.
