Don't no if results are "official" yet. Just got home from Canby. Geneva Emmons 1262# 4 or 5 others were over 1000# including a new world record squash at 1064# by Kirk Mombert.....Oregon Phil

Mr. Orange himself growing the first ever 1000+lb squash, I love it. that makes the day SOOOO much better knowing we have hooked another heavy hitter. Was it a squmpkin or solid green?

I just got back from Canby, We had two 1200 pounders, Geneva Emmons @ 1262#, and Steve Deletis @ 1230# (both were beautiful orange) plus several 1000 plus pumpkins. Kirk Mombert set a new world record with his "barely squash" entry! I was recruited by the lift shift to help move specimins. I was in total awe of the size of those monsters. Man am I sore!!!
I have some great video, and pictures but they wont be developed for a few days.

Even more amazing, the Deletis 1230 weighed way light. It taped out well beyond 400" OTT. I was standing there when it was measured after it came off the truck. I wish I could remember the exact size. I want to say 423" (~1500# est)which is off the chart. It was a sight to behold. Everyone looked shocked when it weighed only 1230#. It was something to behold. Anyone know the exact OTT. It has to be the bigest pumpkin (volumetrically) ever...Oregon Phil

Somewhere else I read that the 1230 OTT at 413". Where might one find the "official" results?

man did i pick the wrong year not to go to Canby !!!!
didn't have anything to take and am going on vacation
next week -didn't feel like it taking the family for
that long a drive and didn't want to leave my wife
stuck with the kids all day.
make sure you talk me into going next year - ok guys !

- i think the results are as offical as they are
going to get. I think Duncan has them all posted on
his page. but he only post what people send to him.
not sure there are any 100% offical pages anywhere.
