My 549 WY record didn't last very long! Roy Birt of Wheatland WY weighed in a 601 at the Wheatland local weighoff. It weighed about 78 lbs heavy & was grown from a 1064 Needham.

Thanks to all, I couldn't have done it without the information found here.
The weighoff was a lot of fun. I will be back next year although I don't know if I'll have a bigger pumpkin. It was nice to meet others that are as obsessed with this hobby as I am. We really ought to do some sort of winter meeting.

didn't hold up. but hey it's fun growing them no
matter what you end up with.
