how is everyone in Ontario doing.....I hear some areas have been fine for growing and others like central Ontario suffer from lack of heat and late pollinations....I personally have had alot of buds within 5 -7 ft of stump that I cut out in hopes of getting ones further out with more plant behind them.....looks like we may need alot of growth in September to make up for the poor June and early July weather.............????

Best year yet for me so far. The weather has been difficult though. My plants (1373 Dueck/Papez,482 Gardner and 579 Welty)are doing well with pumpkins set on all.Still no bugs. Doug

Samething here Wayne. It has been just too darn cool. My hopes are rising this week as the warmth today is a pleasant treat.

not to bad here. My plants are well on their way and i am just about done polinating. take what i get as its getting to late. I am ahead of last year by alot in vine growth, and i was a week to two weeks ahead in polination. I was told that i am on track, and some growers around me were behind, but that was 2 weeks ago. My biggest pumpkin to date is little bit larger then a hard ball size.
