I just got back from the orthadontist, and went to give my plant some fertilizer. When I got down to the patch, I saw about 6" had been broken off my main vine. What do I do?

First i cuss like hell. Take your next secondary and run it as your main now, or take the strongest one closest to the break and run that one out as the main. I had to do the same thing and my secondary thickend up just like the main was. Brooks

What did it do break at the stump then? How long is your main now total since it broke off.

since your main vine is only about 4 feet long, i would wait till secondaries start to grow. then take one of your strongest secondaries, near the stump, and train that as your new main vine. once it gets established and starts growing it's own secondary (technically tertiary) growth, you can prune the remaining secondaries off the the OLD main vine and treat it as a secondary to your NEW main vine.
