I know you all heard this a hundred times. I have a plant that is about fifteen feet out, we had a storm last night. Dum dum me I had a main not tied down, and so the storm snapped it last night. The snap was about five feet ahead of the pumpkin that was set. I have alot of seconaries everywhere. Will this effect the growth of the pumpkin, or no? Could I use a seconary to take the place of the main since I have about three or four growing after the pumpkin? thanks for your help.

Doug I had the same thing happen to me last year only I broke the main vine not a storm. I just buried the end of the main since I was sure the pumpkin was a good set..Ended up with a personal best of 837.4
