Hi, I'm a new grower, I have a very healthy plant growing in a small backyard urban patch, but lately I have noticed that the leaves aren't as green as they used to be. The vine is growing 6-7" a day, and the only thing I have changed in the past week is the addition of a lightweight spray for aphids. Could this be causing it? It's not too big of a deal yet, but wanted to nip it in the bud in case it becomes serious...

What lightweight spray? What dose did you use and time of day applied? Could be a little chemical burn, could also be an imbalance in your soil. When my plants start getting a little yellow I hit them with a good foliar of Empsom Salts " Magnesium Sulfate" they green up right a way. I apply 2TBSP per Gallon of water. This along with 2TBSP fish and kelp and a 2 TBSP of molasses. Still have no cuke beatles on my AG's is it the Molasses raising the Brix creating a healthier less tastier plant I believe so.

I'm just using an insecticide soap, which I applied during the afternoon (sunny day). I sprayed the underside of the leaves as well, as directed on the bottle. I was thinking my soil was likely the problem, I'll try your suggestion with the magnesium sulfate, and I have discontinued using that insecticide, it wasn't working anyways, damn aphids are all over the place...
