This plant is a MONSTER. I expected growth but this is ridiculous! I am cutting off 5 - 10 feet of growth every day ... the two mains are growing at a foot or better every day and 2ndary/3rdiary growth is crazy. Every time I terminate a 2ndary I get a tertiary taking over the next day - ouch. AND I just pollinated my first female Sat. at 18 feet. Not a drop of commercial fertilizers - only kelp, fish emulsion and compost tea.

When do I have to worry about locking up the dog and the spouse??? Another month and I will be able to hide my truck in this jungle. If you don't hear from me again it's because I went in for vine maintenance AND ... OH WELL ... PUMPKIN FOOD!

LOL....Its just gettin started..hehe,...AN you was expecting something less??? LOL.....Wait until your fruit kicks into high gear..Oh,,bout basketball size and you'll see a difference each morning you check in....

We lose at least one grower a year due to aggressive vine growth. They usually find the skeleton about November after the first freeze! ;>)
