after 15 years of growing you would think we had seen it all but just when you think your loaded ?
we have 10 plants in, eight are doing well but two in opposite corners of the patch have a problem both plants have all leaves in center ( from the main ) out that all the leaves are a weak looking yellow green
ph is good, we have tried adding nitrogen ( nothing ), we added phosphores ( nada ), ph is good , drainage is good any ideas tremor, tom and anyone that may be able to help ?
ps--805,723,1016,582,1058, our 1068 and 500 all doing very well----- just the 846 and an 853 squash plant that is of great concern
we did have robero labs involved early on for soil and pond water test and have taken steps to correct any problems they noted
appreciate anyone input
thanks dick and ron ( ri )

Sounds like an iron defficiency.. Try some Ironite, or Azomite, wait a day or two.. see what the diff is.. If not, go with the tissue test.. They can tell you what the prob is..

I say do the tissue test asap, while waiting, I would look at the nutrients that are involved with chlorophyll. Nitrogen, Magnesium, Iron. I would probably put on some Epsom Salts to see if that does it.

Mobile elements are most likely to leave anb old leaf for a new one. Nitrogen is the most likely to do this.

Iron deficiency in plants shows up first in new leaves, which become yellow, usually leaving the veins green. Nitrogen deficiency tends to affect the oldest leaves first, with generally pale leaves becoming yellow from the tips, eventually affecting the whole plant. Overwatering also causes the old leaves to become yellow and eventually drop.
