I just measured my pumpkin and it is 34-28-27.Total Inches is 89.
Is that a good size Pumpkin at day 14? Or is This average for a AG.
This is amazing how these things grow. Any pointers at this point will be ALOT welcomed for this newbie. Thanks, Brooks

It's not over till the fat lady sings! Do you have it positioned well? Are the vines loose with roots severed on both sides of the fruit? Do you have sand or something underneath? (It will soon be too difficult to move.)Anytime you measure you risk scratching or damaging fruit, and compacting soil, don't do it real often. Are all weeds removed? Do you have a shade structure? Good luck!

Yes to all kilr, thanks, I just put sand under it today. I used a weed eater string to measure it with and your right about scratching it, I barely touched it and it put a real light scratch in it less then 1/2 inch long, a little water even came out of it, It was such a light scratch that how i noticed it was a water drop was seeping out of the scratch .Them pumpkins are fragile as heck. That Wentzell is going to grow ya biggem.. WATCH!!
Ive got 2 females on my 1178 L Wentzell One should be open within the next couple of days, My plant took off to a bad start and since the warm weather has arrived it has already outgrown my 620 Boyton Plant which was doing so well. My 1178 L wentzell is going to be pollinated "Selfed" and my 620 Boyton is going to be pollinated from an 1178 Male.
Good Luck your plants are looking good !!

Dave, watch how fast your 1178 is going to take off, seems like when the nights are hot they grow like gang busters!

Well actually the one female on my 1178 which hasnt been pollinated yet but should be ready come end of week is already a pretty good size, I'll be picking a few males off the 1178 the next couple of days getting ready for pollination.
