Tom, I tried replying to message to me, but it was returned as undeliverable. Anyway here is what I replied:
Tom, I've pollinated three females on the 1097.5 within the last week. Not sure if any have set. The plant covers about 400 square ft. with the main about 22'. A deer terminated it for me the other night but I was going to do it myself soon. The plant looks good at first sight, but I think I might be experiencing the start of my same old disease problems. The vine about 2 or 3 ft. from the stump is split lengthwise about two inches and showing some signs of rot. My only other plant, a 1230 Daletas, has a ribbon vine and I'm not really paying much attention to it. It does have some normal looking secondaries. Anyway, I'm preparing myself for the worst if it comes and then I'll pull everything up and consider fumigating my soil with Basamid. Any advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Best of luck! Charlie
