Hello my friends, I am defending my thesis on Monday and I would like to include a picture of AG as a representation what the phloem (vein) system of plants is capable of. If you have a nice picture in mind please post the link. Also I would like to know what the max load per day is. I would get this info myself but I have momentary no time. Thank you very much for your help, Jernej

You can use pics from my diary if you wish.

October 5th has a few good pics with me next to it (I'm assuming you wanted a size comparison).

What school do you attend so I can report you for violating your own academic integrity? "I would do my thesis research myself... except I'm a lazy student..."

Hey be nice! This person has asked for permission to use pics. It would be difficult to ask for permission based on ones found through research with such a short time frame involved. I doubt that anyting I have posted will be of help but you are free to use any of it if you like. Secondly, max growth per day is generally estimated by measurement so it is subject to debate. However I have been told by others of as much as 40lbs a day, with 20-30 not being uncommon. The first week of August last yr I had a fruit gowing at 25 lbs a day for 5 consecutive days! As far as vine growth per day is concerned I have personally had as much as 14" in one day, I am sure that others have had more, but that much I can personally attest to. Good luck on your thesis Eric

Thanks for the info on max load hapdad and the pictures Brigitte. I am finishing my PhD and I have to present functioning of the phloem because I worked on a phloem parasites phytoplasmas, which are the smallest known cellular organisms and live inside phloem cells. DNA, about the integrity: don’t you think that to ask about pumpkins the best reference is BP? Jernej
