I believe I have a double vine. I say this because I've never seen one before. At first I thought it was just a really big vine and I was quite excited. Then I started to wonder if it was flat (haven't seen one of those either). As I looked closer, though, there appear to be two ends protruding at the end of the vine. It's my 1133.4 Demers plant (Anyone else growing it?) I've read from other posts that you should terminate one of the vines. I'm curious as to why though? Wouldn't it provide a bigger pipe to the pumpkin? Is it an issue of pliability?
Here are the pics:

What is the reason for terminating one? Why are doubles bad?
Thanks,
Matt
