I had a 5 gallon bucket half-filled with water out in the garden, and had a hose laying across the top. I had to rescue a bird yesterday who had dropped in for a bath and couldn't get out, and today one drowned. this happen to anyone else? Anyone need a dead bird?

Stupid birds. Has it been unusually dry in NE? It sounds like you may have discovered a new & unique means of controlling unwanted bird populations. What species were they?

Wow, maybe I will try this to keep the sparrow population down! Yet another great suggestion!

I'll remember not to kiss the dead bird just in case.

Matt the bird murderer. I hope the bird's estate doesn't have a good lawyer. Jeez. And now we find out they had an intimate releationship too....Yikes!

I'm with Gordon... GO UTES!

I have had NO bugs this year,... none! No pesticides, and
no bugs anywhere in my garden.

I've also noticed that we have a lot of birds around the
neighborhood, mostly "killdeer", and they make a racket
everytime you move around the yard. These birds are known
for eating bugs........ don't know if there is a coorelation
but I'm enjoying the situation.

Regards, Cliff
