The main vine of my main plant broke the other day, this was a 620 boyton and was farther along than the rest of my plnats, is there any hope of grwoing a pumpkin on it? it is only 2 feet long since it broke. thanks for the help!

pap

Rhode Island

cut back from the break to the next side vine
trim the main blunt about an inch or so past the side
this side will then become your main
in other words the secondary becomes the main vine and any third stage growth off this vine will now be like the secondary

I plan to grow my fruit on a tertiary because the primary and later the secondary broke off. As pap says, the growth power goes into the remaining vines on the plant. Good luck, Jernej
