I was just wondering if anyone else is going to Anamosa this weekend. Just for fun im going to take my big max pumpkin, even though its small compared to the others that im sure will be there! This will be my first time to a weighoff!!!!!

That was the winner at Anamosa????!! WOW, I hope I get to see a big one! I guess no one here will be in Anamosa, I was hoping to meet a person or two. Oh well this will be fun.

I know at least two growers that will be there.
both great guys, and have good pumpkins that
will do well.
so what you need to do is just be a little bold and introduce yourself to whomever you want to.
we're all pumpkin nuts and like talking pumpkins.
tell them who you are what you grew, that you want
to grow Atlantic Giants next year. ask the questions
about their pumpkins, their patch, if they'd be willing
to give you thier email, so you can ask them questions.
ask if they'd be willing to give you a few seeds.
and you know what... they all will be happy to.
wish i could be there... but it's a bit of a drive
from seattle.
