This may sound odd......but I have tiny female blossoms on both of my plants and the plants are not 2 feet long yet? Is this odd or normal and what would cause it?

My plants are small and they also have blossoms although no females yet.

They might not be females now that I think about it.

My 2 fot vines are BUSTIN' with blossoms, but so far they are all male. You will know a female because there will be a *tiny* yellow (or green) blister on the flower stem just under the flower. That's the pumpkin. The males don't have those. SOmetimes I spot females within an inch of the tip of the vine. The pumpkins are usually about the size of a pinhead and the flowers have barely formed, but there they are.

Rooting hormone can induce female blossoms. Has any been used lately?
