I will be terminating some secondaries in the next few weeks due to the geometry of my patch. Any tips? Greg

Not after you've terminated.

I have a tip. I terminate mine and bury them. Pretty much all there is to it.

No tips after you're done.
I cut them with a sharp pruning knife. Spray with Lysol (between different plants - not each cut) then wipe dry. Leave the cuts exposed a day to dry. Then bury the buggers.
Some folks dust the cut with fungicide. I've never seen nor am I aware of any fungal vascular disease that can enter a pruning cut. Never saw a pruning cut infected with anything now that I think about it. So I don't bother.

Thanks for reminding me.. My friend works in a hospital and brings me brand new scalples all the time. I have them marked with the plant on them and use it for only that plant. I also sterilize between each use..
I dont spray nothing on the fresh cuts either..
