and tommarrow night. Temps dipping into the mid-upper 30's...... What a crappy spring/summer so far In Minnesota, this is by FAR the latest I've had to worry about frost, A few years ago I have frost on June 5th and I though that was late.

WOW I guess my 40 degree nights aren't as bad as in other places. I would be scrambling to do a make-shift greenhouse if I were you! Growth is sllooowwwww here in Wisconsin. The forecast looks somewhat promising next week. Darn weather.

Just checked on my 537 Hildebrant at my north patch, and some time in the past few nights, it was hit by frost. It will probably survive, but has taken some damage.
It's almost July for crying out loud. This really sucks.

Funny what a difference a few miles make, weather nice here, 75 now, predict 55 tonight, 48 tomorrow night, still no Heat wave.

survived round one, round 2 is tonight. :) (definately got frost last night, the grass was frosty in a few spots at 6am.

Mother nature is bring all she has tonight, thunderstorms, temps ~35*f, frost.......... YUCK..... I counter acted with extention cords, about 4-5 king size sheets, and my ceramic heaters.....

Well, mothernature tryed her best but the ceramic heaters worked once again! got down to 33*f last night.

You can turn on your sprinklers periodically during the night to reduce frost damage.

I haven't seen cool summer like this yet, The last recorded spring/summer this cool was in 1978, I was born in 79'. usually June 1st till the middle of september is FROST FREE.
