If it is over should I start pinching off new blossoms orwait another week to make sure I have some backups set?.The Mongeon 300 I have will have its first open female this weekend. I know it might not be ready for weighoff but I had to keep this plant to try to get some nice pumpkins from it Matt was so helpful to get me on track this year and I could just scream that my patch wasn't ready for the plant earlier. Thanksd again for everyones help, this is the best site, I have met so many new friends willing to help Amy

Hi Amy! It's kilr again. The golden zone here is July 1-10,though I have a very slow growing LaRue 915 that just opened it's first female this morning, so I pollinated it.Sometimes a later setting pumpkin will do better than an early one,I continue to pollinate till around July 20,after which chances of a really big one are gone.I have a total of 8 plants which I started pollinating July 3,I've done over 15 pollinations and they all took!
