So far my plants are doing well. I pollinated my first today but I don't think I will keep it , it's not far enough out.My plants are between 6-8 foot out at this point. Doug

Ya this spring was sure a cool and wet one here, Both my plants the 620 Boyton and 1178 L Wentzell were placed outdoors on May 9th. Dureing May they really didn't do much, June came around and we had a good 2 weeks of hot humid weather and they took off like crazy, The main vine on my 620 boyton is out around the 4 ft mark the vine on the 1178 is out about 1.5 ft.

Happy with the pace here in Barrie. Pollinated my first female this morning on the 709 McCallum. Lost a few good plants though due the cool spring and my early start. Lost a 582 Hester due to over heating, also lost a 756 Kennedy, a 782 gervais, a 1104 Hester and two Hunt watermellons. Still going strong with 1301 Eaton, 1156 Larsen, 709 & 794 McCallum, 675* Hester, 771 Stellphlug, 767 Catapano, 608 holland, and 4 - 190 Landry's two of which are test plants. Plus two Razzo long Gourds and a zillion sunflowers.

Plants are doing ok here. Right now they are at the 6 to 7 foot mark. Should be in good shape for July 1st to 7th pollinations. Last year my plants didn't hit the 7ft mark till the beginning of July. It was a cold wet spring last year and hardly any sun in June. So I'll take this spring over last year's.

Only problem with this year is the days are Nice and Hot nights are cool, last night it went down to 4 degs here in Ontario :-(, Today was 22 tomouro 25 but nights are still on the cool side being 5 - 10 degs night time lows. TOO close to frost for my likeing. but plants are still growing 0k :-)

everything fine here. Plant is usual size and should be pollinating around the 1st on the 805 14 ft out. 898 is the better of the two and a nice looking pumpkin on the main.

Weather terrible here in N.B. One day, hot enough to swim and the next below 50F....and rain...so cold. I was just out and measured mine. Vine length on mystery plant(ink washed off seed..have no idea what it is) 40 inches. 280 Van measures 44 inches. 650 Paynter 1 1/2 feet, and the 421 1/2 wagon wheel Van is about 36 inches. I doubt very much if anything produces anything worth having this year...tho there are buds.....
