Go figure. We kept an 845 Bobier cutting from Dave Garrell over the winter. Somehow either David flopped it, or I did. But all the aerial roots are pointing straight up in the air. I keep burying them, & the crazy things pop right up through the soil! I found one about 6 inches long laying on the soil today.
Most plants would recognize the influence of gravity & fix itself. But this cutting is certainly different. It's also got an all green female??? Strange. LOL
Anyone ever seen this before?

Green?!? are you sure its an 845?!?
The roots are wierd, but if the cutting came from a plant that produced an orange fruit, this cutting is VERY interesting!!! I'm going to look for it in your diary right now...

The females on my 845 last year were also all green. They turned white/yellow when they were ready for pollination. The resulting pumpkin was also white until about two weeks before harvest. Then it turned all green without a spot of white...

I'll se if I can get a picture the next time a root is up. I have them all covered at the moment. The fruit is only marble sized right now. It could still turn yellow. We'll go see after the coffee kicks in.

Hmmm.
Nice seed to keep in patch on the off chance it wins you a green jacket.
