I just saw you Uncle Sam pumpkin in the diary section... Congratulations on a job well done.

Start to position him more perpendicular to the vine. SLOWLY move him about an inch a day in the head of the afternoon.

At a minimum, put something between him and the vine, he is too close and will begin to rub against it. The vine is very abrasive and will tear at his skin, scarring him. This will cause problems for him down the road.
