Do we believe what we saw today in New England at the Tops field fair in Topsfield Ma. Not only did we see Jim Kuhn from Goffstown NH beat the previous NE record by 11lbs.(1020lbs.)Craig Weir of Salsbury Ma. came along and added 240 more pounds to the scale, producing a new world record (1260lbs.)You should of felt the tension in the Arena!!!!Congrats to everyone in NE...

CONGRATULATIONS to the new world record holder, and to all growers entered at Topsfield! Pretty Awesome! Could this be the shape of things yet to come?

Incredible! Will the world record hold or are there bigger out there to be weighed in the next couple of weeks. Nearly every year a new record is set. Is it that the genetics of the seeds are improved or are growing techniques improving? Congratulations to Craig.

I only wish! My estimated weight is 400lbs less then the new world record. It would have to be 50% over the charts, and that won't happen.

Your 30 pounder was heavy, by 27.6% wow that would be a whole 8lbs.
