On two of my plants the vine tip(new little growth on main) wants to twist and do a complet 360, has anyone ever had this when trying to train the vine, Should i let it twist the way it wants to go, or train it to stay down. When i try to train the tip it just seems like too much tention. Im doing my S curves and i think this might have something to do with one plants tip, but the other one im not doing anything to it.

i wouldn't do anything close to the tip. i think you should be at least a few inches behind it to avoid damaging it. as far as the 360 twist, i haven't seen that before, a picture would be worth a thousand words.....

Im thinking the new leaves grwoing about 4 inches behind the tip might have something to do with it, cause they look like they are grwoing from underneath the vine

don't mess with the tip. you can't know what's happening until it grows out more. i had one doing basically the same thing and it just follows the main....the main vine is what's important, not the tip when it comes to direction.
the tip follows the vine, not vice-versa.

Are you completely removing the tendrils?

The 339 little I have done the same thing on the first female. It has another female and stopped twisting so far.

Last year I had a main that flopped 180 - & I thought this was due to completely removing the tendrils.

This year I am only removing the curly twisty parts and have not had any problems.

Sly - The S curve adjustments are best to do during the heat of the day. The vine is much more workable then.
Good Luck.
