My 747.2 Hunt went to a flat vine about 2 week ago, at the onset of the rain and cool temps? if ya call 2 inches wide and a half inch thick rectangle ...flat, then after about 8 inches, it sent out two perfect vines, a perfect "Y", both identicle, both now about the size of a shovel handle, and healthy. I had planned on the flag pattern, and really only have room for the flag, so I suppose one must go, Suggestions? Only one "bad" thing has happened, and patience and a couple days has remedied that, the 1030 Armstrong suffered a split from the "near tornado" and it was about 14 inches long, allowed it to dry, buried it and it is real healthy. That so called "sleeper seed" the 603 Needham, is now Literally Sprinting ahead of the Pack, All this weather of the sunny variety is doing them so much good!

Phil, Hack off one of the mains and go with it. You were lucky, a lot of flat vines won't split leaving a mess of tangled leaves and vines. The heavy rains we had two weeks ago stunted my 747.2, but it is now up and running again. Take care and good luck.
