I've had a pumpkin set this week,,it may not make much,,but I let it set because of it's shape..It's very long,,,perfectly round..I'd say its 8-10 long,,havent had one this long all year...Is the cool weather doing this(making it long)?I dont think we will have a frost til after october,,,it seems to be growing,,,gonna let it go since its on the vine my biggest is on,,biggest has stopped growing....Does it stand a chance with temps being in low 50's??It cools off and turns hot again,,,hope it will grow...Has anyone else had this happen???Good luck to all who are entering weigh offs this weekend!!! Jeff ^_^

this one is long,,wish it had set eariler,,,think it would have been a good un..Its 4 lobed,,,actually looks like it grew lastnight,,,I put a good dose of 0-0-60 to it yesterday and watered it in....we shall see,,,not many leaves and roots to support it...

Jeff- it should keep growing as long as it doens't freeze. 50's aren't ideal for growing but it could be worse! keep it going so you can see what it does. gordon
