Today I found some corn gluten meal at a great price and while I might not try it in my main patch I thought I'd use it in the satellite patch that doesn't get as much care. Can anyone give me ant thoughts or advice concerning using corn gluten meal or not to suppress weeds in that area? Thank you in advance, Randy

Follow the directions and do not over apply. Over applying will have negative effects until you can get it out of your soil. I believe Preen has a garden version with corn gluten meal which is organically friendly but when over applied it's not good.

Thank you Tony, I've thought of using this product for several years but haven't because in the back of my mind I thought it could have a bad side effects on vine burying. I would like to try it in an area that hasn't been grown in for several years but had feral weeds growing there instead. I will do some research and try not being my normal "more on" :) and hope for the best. Thank you again and if you have any other thoughts on using this, please let me know, Randy.
