I have a question for all of you. My 600.5 Gregory is growing great guns and looks good. The leaves are all dark green BUT the vines are yellow - very yellow compared to my other plants. I have pictures in my diary and will have more posted tomorrow.

Any ideas? Is this something to be concerned about?

Thanks

This is a fairly normal in Atlantic Giants. I know the 801.5 stelts has the yellow vines. Nothing is wrong with your plant so don't try to over fertilize it trying to get it green.

My 880 Vine is yellow. The leaves are healthy, and even though the vine is yellow it is thicker and stronger then any of my plants. I wouldnt worry about it ..

Thanks for the support everyone. This had me worried since it is the only plant that looks that way. I will leave it alone and just watch it grow.

Around here we want to pull all plants with yellow vines....yellow vines are usually followed by yellow fruit which lead to, even worse, orange fruits......pull them now or you'll get one of those orange squash.........G

You may have a point there! The 771 Stellpflug (squash) has a green vine - maybe just coincidence.

My 901 Hebb has very yellow vines. I noticed last year the plants with the yellow vines had the most orange fruit and the green vines had yellow/white fruit.
