I think it would be interesting to see a list of people's personal bests. I encourage all those with less than stellar results to post as well. Feel free to post goals for this year.
My largest pumpkin was a Big Max I believe. I planted it and let it sprawl. I didn't weight it, but I'm guessing 100 lbs. I grew some A.G.'s one year(not really knowing much about growing strategies), and the largest was maybe 70 lbs.
I'm growing one plant this year, and I'll set a goal of 400 lbs.(it's difficult to know what to expect my first "serious" year of growing).

Myself, I've been into gardening for the past 15 + years now, always grew store bought " Big Max" plants and always planted the garden May 24th weekend pumpkings always grew my biggest to date is LUCKY to be 35 Lbs MIND YOU thats with only watering and letting the bees do there own pollinating.. never got interested till late Summer of 2003
growing large pumpkings, found this message board and over the fall and winter i worked my patches and had soil tests done collected some good seeds.. got off to and early start this year and am currently WAAAAAY ahead of the game this year as far as Pumpkings go... I have truthfully spent ALLOT of money on soil tests and additives to get my soil were it "should be" spent some money on good seeds and spent ALLOT of money on good fertilizers.. i almost lost my plants early this spring by " OVER " fertilizering the plants.. the mixes i have for fertilizers are all organic and i NOW feed a weaker solution on a weekly basis then what it calls for.. my plants for 2004 are the 620 Boyton and 1178 Lwentzell, Truthfully this year ( first serious year of growing large pumpkings) id be happy with an 100 Lb Pumpking and would consider that a good learning experience for my first year.. ive already made a few mistakes and have corrected them thanks for MANY of people on BIGPUMPKINGS.COM...

on the other hand id LOVE to have a 400 LB + pumpking but truthfully i doubt it will happen my first year into the game.

156 lbs. on a Burpee Hybrid Prizewinner in 2002. I'm trying to beat that this year with the same seeds. I could barely get that one out of my back yard. No forklift or tractor is going to help in my small yard so that's as big as I ever want to get. Anything larger will rot on the spot.

grew "big Max" last year, 2 plants produced 8 pumpkins 85 -110 lbs. Had no idea what I was doing, didn't shade the pumpkins so the shells hardened early, let the bees do the pollinating, never tested the soil, just gave them lots of water. This year, I've hopefully corrected my errors and hope to get something over 500 lbs.
