June 21st to the 23rd, anyone live close to the city? Still unsure of my itinerary, as I will be shooting a commercial for the United States Postal Service those days. I am hoping to take in a Cubbies or WhiteSox game, anyone reccommend a bar or restaurant? How about a landmark to visit?

Joliet, IL

tickets for the cubbies are hard to come by and will
be more expensive getting one from a scalper Rock, but wrigley field is definately something to see. i am a sox
fan and our pathetic attendance means you can walk up and
purchase tickets at the gate, just make sure to try to get level 100 tickets for access to centerfield party deck
and the stadium club bar. also, see some live music at
buddy guy's legend's or reggae at the wild hair across
from wrigley field or the cubby bear too.
if you feel like slumming it one day, come down
to Joliet and you can meet me at Bobby's Tap at 1108
Plainfield in Joliet. its one hour drive tops with
no traffic. take I-55 south to Weber Rd. south to
Rt 30 east about 1 and 1/2 miles down on the left hand
side. a white cracker jack box tavern next to the Bel Air
motel (the no tell motel).

i am usually there every day around Jeopardy time after
work about 3:30. if i am not there just ask for shazzy and
they will call me and i will be right there being i live 3
blocks away. i will buy you some beers and we can check out
my patch if you want. i would invite you to stay at my
house, but i am a slob and take better care of the patch
than my house cleaning.

if anyone else is ever in Joliet, stop at bobby's tap
for a cold one and the same offer.

have fun in chicago rock, it is definately a cool city.
