I treated my watermelon patch with Basamid this spring and I know it kills many many things. What I need to know now is what should I add back to my soil (bacteria, fungi, nutrients, etc) because I'm sure some of that stuff that got killed would've come in handy.
P.S. I don't have a soil test

Do you have any ProMax? That, some Trochoderma, & a little Mycorrhizae & you're in.
P.S. Send me some soil & you will. ;o)

Hey Brent! Compost tea will add many beneficial life to your soil and some people I know here in Germany also mix regular yeast with water and add that too to their plants. I know a lady here that uses lots of yeast and wins flower competitions with it.
I agree also with the mcyo and also a bit of superthrive and seaweed so that you have all the necessary micronutrients your pumpkins will need. Hope this helps... Michel

we used basemid once several years ago at one of our older patches the salesman said it worked like agent orange when killing off disease and bacterial so we put it down tilled it in rolled it kept it watered for 10 days results ---- we had more weeds the following year than ever also had the same disease situations
for us it was a big waste of time and money
