Recent poll results have been mixed. I don't have time to continue monitoring the sporadic email responses. So this decides it once & for all.

1.) Change name from "Metro Giant Pumpkin Growers" to "CT Giant Pumpkin & Squash Growers". As expected, NY growers favor "Metro" & CT growers favor "CT". CT is winning by a landslide. Add name "Squash".

2.) Our logo. Frank Edwards did a great job with the original "Metro" theme as I asked him. Votes are in & consistent. But if we change our name......
Jim Stead had a great vision: "Gourdzilla" on the Empire State Bldg holding a Giant Pumpkin, swatting not airplanes, but adult Squash Vine Borers (copyright 2004 by me so don't even think about it) LOL. I'd keep the "Metro" name just to use this image but we need to make decisions.

3.) Patch Tours. Adam suggested "Twi-Light-Mini-Tours" after work at no more than 1 or 2 patches until a full weekend tour after we have fruit. All in favor?

Start posting but let's please keep it to the 3 subjects at hand.

Thanks,

Steve

Hey Steve, wait a minute! You're going to stick me on the side of the Empire State Building swatting SVB's? I've never even seen one before. :-)
And one other thing, I already have the copyright to the name Gourdzilla......Wanna buy it? LOL Vince
