saturday evening i did some overdue pruning and found a female on a side vine 8' out and 17' out the main. i could tell it just bloomed in the morning for it was near 100degrees all day and the flower though closed looked very new. i hope it takes and the bees did there job for the pumpkin under the blossum is the size of a tennis ball. it is no bigger yet but still shiney. has anyone seen a blossum this big befor for mine are barly the size of golf balls usually. i have to go with this one since no females will bloom on the main vine.

Last year in Lincolns patch he had fruit the size of softballs under the open blossoms. They looked like they had been set for a week already. Unfortunately most of them blew up for him last year. I hope your results are better.
