i have about 40 or so more ag's that are growing on their own in a patch hoping to get a few for halloween, the soil is poor and i have no econmical way of watering them so i m not really expecting anything marvelous from them..but i could transplant 3 of them to my "good" patch to replace the dead ones.. in the past i havent had real good success relocating plants, it seems to me if the root ball is disturbed in any way the plant really gets stressed out and some times is stunted or just doesnt make it..any ideas on digging up a foot long vine and holding the soil together?? a hydraulic tree spade is the first thing that comes to mind but a little pricey for this application..thanks,keith
