Mark, It may be mosaic virus...usually starts with the newest leaves and works its way back. I've never had it on a pumpkin plant only on my marrows. Spread by aphids..is there any on the underside of the leaves... blackfly... greenfly? If it is then best cut off the infected part and burn..spreads like wildfire amongst the others. Hope its not Mark. Alun

Thanks Alun, No aphids but I did see some bigger sap suckers of some sort a while back I do have Fat Hen (lambs quarter)in the patch and that can host the virus.I've cut the leaves off and am keeping my fingers crossed that its something else.
