i just got hit by a small storm cell packing very high winds
and some heavy rain, but no hail. this tail end of the
system is hitting indiana and ohio later on. these storms
are whipping up 45 to 50 mph+ gusts. i was watching out
my window at my greenhouses getting pushed to their max,
contorting in the wind like an old mans face in front
of a wind tunnel. they buckled, stretched, rocked and
rolled and somehow stayed in place and in tact.
batten down the hatches to all out east when the tail
end of this killer low front comes through cuz its
packing high winds.

I climbed Mt. Whitney the other day and it was 80 mph winds and -10. However not a pumpkin in site.

Hang in There Shazzy, Great job on your greenhouses, my little old make shift enclousures took the beating the second night they were standing, 60-70 mph gusts, figured I'd be picking em up in the next county!The weather just has to get better, I figure it won't rain again till the next Big Holiday!

shazzy i live in nw indiana, and we got hit up pretty bad here too. my hoophouses handled pulled through like troopers. it will get better pretty soon.
