Enjoyable Memorial Day Everyone, and Please take time to reflect and honor those who have passed, It will be a wet one here They say...Someone said that the area they live in is having the driest May on record? Last Night we hit Number Ten of the top ten wettest years on record here in this area :~(

bumpy,
i here ya on the rain. i emptied my rain gauge today
that was filled to the top...5" of rain yesterday from
the 2 lines of killer storms. the patch was almost
completely underwater at one point during the second wave
of storms, but it drained with no standing water
a couple hours later thank God. all of northern illinois
is under flash flood warnings still from yesterdays rains.
chances for more today and all week. so far the hoophouses
and higher ground at each planting spot has kept the plants
out of danger. sooner or later this pattern has to
change, hopefully sooner because the rivers
won't take much more of this. as i am typing, it started
to rain big fat heavy drops again out there. glad i got
the grass cut this morning. so bump, you are not alone.
it is what it is, so have a good memorial day anyways.
