I have 3 consecutive pumpkins that are just starting to appear on the main vine one right after the other. Do I not worry about the center pumpkin and concentrate on making an "S" curve for the first and third pumpkin so they are on the outsides of the turns?

I had 3 in a row last year and it was difficult to decide which to keep, you will probably have to move the curve in the vine AFTER you have got down to one fruit leave plenty of vine unburied to help you do this raising the section of vine off the ground with pipes or blocks of wood will help as well don't write off any of the flowers until after they have set. My 3 all opened on the same day and all set it was cool look in my 2003 diary July 8th entry.
