I was planting some tomatoes from a pot that I had put some fish meal in, which it said I could do so on the container. Low and behold I think I have something bad. When I potted the tomatoes in each container (2 gallon) there were about 50 small white worms? Are these maggots or "baby" worms that are helpful...I am not too familiar! Thanks for your help in advance, Steve

Between your bag of pro-mix that smelled bad in your last post, and your fish meal maggot-mix....lol,(it is pretty easy to tell the difference between worms and maggots)well I would say you must be getting your supplies at the municipal garbage dump...

But it sounds like you're not dealing with Maggots. If it's a light colored threadlike work, it is probably a "Enchytraeid worm". These are not apthogenic & are just another worm found in compost. For the life of me, I could only find the following image at the bottom of this page:

Baby worms are very thin small and white, where as maggots are plumper and much larger. Sounds like it may be maggots as they love rotting fish!

Sounds like Steve is a maggot... He likes rotting things too... first soil, now fertilizer... LMAO!!
Steve.. LISTEN CLOSE... GO TO A DIFFERENT NURSERY DUDE!!! The municipal dump is not the place to get supplies, obviously! If what you say is true, you can contact the consumer fraud division of your local law enforcement department and file a report. You may also be able to sue for damages if products purchased are as unsanitary as you say, as both the soil and fertilizer are health hazards to humans. You should not be exposed to such things, there are health laws in place preventing such things that endanger the publics safety.
Enough on your problems, how are the plants? How long is the 940 98 Mombert clone? How many plants did you get going? Which plants are germinated? What was your % of germination? Are your plants vining out yet? How long f vines do you have? Have any male flowers opened up yet? Does the clone have any females showing in the cluster yet? There now, you have some questions to answer instead of ask... Inquiring minds want to know. You have the best stuff genetically out of all us Colorado growers, so we are keeping a close eye on you now. We can't have you kicking our ass without us putting up a fight now!
