Subject: weigh off you wont beleive this!!!

i took one of my pumpkins to the district state fair saturday and entered it in the weigh off, well i asked when were they going to weigh the pumpkins and the answer was "they don't weigh them they just pick them up to tell which one is the biggest," mine was around 95 to 100 lbs. if ya'll want to call us here in middle tennessee backwards go right ahead!!! that has to be about the dumbest thing i've seen lately, next year i'll guarentee they wont be able to just pick mine up!!!!

Thats the same system they use at our local fair down here. Though the $5 first prize was hard to resist I managed to stay away. (insert sarcastic comment about the South below)

What if the pumpkin was too wide to pick up? The guy could have dropped it!
