Reason i ask is because its been raining here since thursday my back lawn along with patch is no longer takeing any more water its basically washing the soil out of the patch :-(. last i checked was at 7pm and my patch number 1 was bascially under 1" of water. been raining non stop since then and is suppose to continue till wed.
Is this all this rain a threat to the plants? like will it rot the plants .worst part of this all is wed the rain is gonna stop then thursday friday cloudy and COLD!!
so what i'm getting at is... Should i start back-ups now JUST in case or is it too late for that?
thanks
Dave

Of course anything short of prime growing conditions is bad for your plant, but I think they will survive ok. If you had stagnant water sitting there that would be a problem but the fresh rain should have enough oxygen in the water for them to be ok.
